MANIFESTO DELIVERED BY WENDY TOKU MENSAH

Mr. Chairman, Executives and Prefects, Colleague aspirants, all protocols observed, Ladies and Gentlemen. Today stands unique in the annals of the historical archives of our SRC as it brings to bear ideological differences in upholding the enshrinement of leadership continuity in our SRC constitution.
It is also with much grace and utmost pride today to have gone through successfully the vetting process to come this far.
I am Mensah Toku Wendy and I ascend to this podium today to deliver my manifesto to canvass for your support to become the next PRO of our SRC. The PRO, since the SRC constitution was instituted has grown on a higher scale to become a vibrant arm of the SRC. I will therefore not hesitate to bear out the school of thought that the P.R.O is the connective force in the SRC administration.
 To avoid blowing my own trumpet, such accolade is well deserving. Let me take this opportunity to acknowledge the able men and women who have raised the bar of this position since constitutional rule. Apafo Stephen started in Ackas administration, Ebenezer Brehunu did his best in 2016 – 2017 academic year led by Asante Rammy. This work was highly augmented by our own Senya Collins in the almost gone administration which was marshaled by Buahin Ibrahim. Not attempting to sing unto us praises, the PRO’s in all these administration played a core responsibility.
 Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for Wendy Mensah to continue this good work. I am humbled today to solicit for your vote since this work needs a person best of human relation and communication skills. My impeccable spate of respect for people, good command over the English language and my easiness to get along well with people put me a mile ahead of my equals. I believe these hard – found qualities will usher me the chance to get endeared to students.
The Chair, Ladies and Gentlemen, I will utilize these prowess of mine to energize the women’s wing of our school to participate holistically in all programs of the SRC. I will also bring on board SRC reps, Class Reps and Hostel prefects on one platform to ensure the effectiveness in the dissemination of information.
 The Chair, Ladies and Gentlemen, coupled with the work of the P.R.O. in relaying information is the master mind behind the organization of S.R.C programs and activities. I wish to assure you with all sincerity that I will perform this responsibility with no Ifs and Buts. Personally, I anticipated how cooperation of students and leadership can put us on the success pedestal and thus I want to challenge you to give your all when you vote me into power.
 Moreover, The Chair, Ladies and Gentlemen, in bringing my speech to an end our holy bible in Psalm 139: 16, with humility and best of my conscience do a little alteration, ‘When Wendy bones were being formed, carefully put together in my mother’s womb, when I was growing there in secrets, Lord, you knew that I will be the next PRO of this school’.
The Chair, Ladies and Gentlemen, taking cognizance of these enumerated qualities, I believe in the deepest of my thought that each and everyone here will give his/her vote to me on the day when franchise is exercised I thank you all for giving me audience.
